For advertisers with superficial performance experience, we recommend automatic or assisted optimization. In the latter, protection factors are applied, which means that the expenditure does not exceed the target CPO - this is set by you in the settings before the start of the campaign.
In the first step of your campaign settings, you choose between the optimization types. In the supported variant, you can automatically use the average CPO as the target CPO or set a custom target CPO. This then corresponds to the maximum amount per conversion. The CPO target value is not a guarantee, billing is still per click. Also important: Make sure that a functioning conversion tracking is active.
