Image Formats & Ad Specifications

Ad Texts

Create your ad texts considering the maximum number of characters (including spaces):

  • Headline: max. 35 characters

  • Text: max. 80 characters

  • Display URL: max. 35 characters

Image Sizes

We use four image sizes to present your ad optimally on all devices.

  • Max. file size: 2 MB

  • File type: JPEG, PNG

  • For optimal visualization even on high-resolution displays, we recommend the use of images with an width of at least 1000px.

Video/Motion Ads – Specifications & Advice

  • Max. file size: 5 MB

  • Max. length: 15 seconds

  • Recommended resolution: 720p bzw. full HD. In general: higher resolutions are preferable

  • File type: mp4, webm, mov, gif

  • No relevant information should be placed at the edges of the image as your video will automatically be cropped to the required aspect ratios of 1:1, 4:3, 16:9 and 10:3
  • Muted, otherwise the audio track will be removed by the system

  • Videos start automatically in the delivery and will be looped (repeat themselves automatically)

  • Video/Motion ads should be created in a separate ad group (i.e. a pure video/motion ad group)

Negative Example (first creative)

  • Many changing pictures

  • Hectic triggered by change of tempo
